Prayer Ministry

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
Phillippians 4.6

We are passionate about prayer with daily Morning and Evening Prayer (Mon-Fri) and a Monthly Prayer meeting for an hour on the first Saturday morning of the month. We are also involved in the global prayer initiative (Thy Kingdom Come) for 10 days between Ascension and Pentecost each year.

We pray for our community and individuals every week in our Sunday services.
If you would like us to pray for someone, and you have their permission, please email prayer@iverparishchurch.org.uk

Prayer Ministry is usually available after the 10am service at St Peter’s and St Leonard’s Churches for anyone who wishes to ask for prayer for any reason in absolute confidentiality (unless there is a safeguarding issue).
Please speak to a member of the Prayer Ministry Team or to one of the clergy.

Prayer for Healing (with anointing with oil) is available as part of our 12 noon Holy Communion service
every Thursday at St Peter’s Church.
