Iver is a parish steeped in history with our Parish church, St Peters, showing evidence of building works from Anglo Saxon times.
Our daughter church, St Leonard’s in nearby Richings Park, is a much more modern building, dating back to 1849!

Our Parish records of baptisms, marriages and burials begin in 1605 and we have a fairly complete set except for a number of gaps in the second half of the 17th century.
This information has been computerised so that we can access it quickly. We also have records of tombstones in the Old Churchyard and burial records for the New Churchyard and Burial ground.
