Be a Part of Making a Difference
As a Parish we are fully self-funding and require financial support from the congregation and community to help us to spread Gods word in Iver, the surrounding area and beyond. This also allows us to provide groups for children and families, such as Totzone and Messy Church. Regular giving is the most helpful way to contribute to our finances, and one way in which this can be achieved, is by organising a standing order. If you are a tax payer, you are eligible to Gift Aid, allowing the Church to claim 25p in every £1.
Why Give?
Like everyone else we face increasing costs; and without an increase in income inevitably we will be able to do less.
Together in the past we have been able to:
- Express our thanks to God for all He has blessed us with, in our homes and families
- Give Glory to God in our church worship
- Sustain our activities for our children, young people and the elderly; extend care to the wider community, the bereaved and the sick. Extend our welcome to those coming for Baptism, those we meet in local outreach and those in need, supporting people both at home and abroad through our mission giving.
- Pay our bills for gas and electricity, insurance and for our clergy through our Parish share, which provides for our clergy.
If you can help us in any way, however small, we will be able to use this to help us extend God’s kingdom and continue working in Iver and beyond…
